Jesus Epichttps://ta.wikipedia.org/s/8xtகட்டற்ற கலைக்களஞ்சியமான விக்கிப்பீடியாவில் இருந்து. இயேசு காவியம் என்பது கவிஞர் கண்ணதாசன் எழுதிய ஒரு தற்காலத் தமிழ்க் காப்பியமாகும். இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வரலாற்றைக் கவிதை வடிவில் கூறும் இந்த நூல் சுமார் 400 பக்கங்களைக் கொண்டது. இந்நூல் கண்ணதாசன் இறந்து அடுத்த ஆண்டு, அதாவது 1982 இல் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. திருச்சி “கலைக்காவிரி” என்ற அமைப்பின் வேண்டுகோளுக்கிணங்க கவிஞர் கண்ணதாசன் இக்காவியத்தைப் படைத்தார். குற்றாலத்திலும், திருச்சியிலும் பல நாட்கள் அவர் தங்கியிருந்து, கிறிஸ்தவ இறையியலறிஞர்கள் பலர் உடனிருந்து துணை செய்ய, இக்காவியத்தை இயற்றினார். பின்னர் அறிஞர் குழு திருச்சியில் மும்முறை கூடி, எட்டு நாட்கள் காவியத்தை ஆராய்ந்து திருத்தங்கள் கூற, கவிஞர் தேவைப்பட்ட திருத்தங்களைச் செய்து தந்தபின் இக்காவியம் பதிப்பிக்கப்பெற்றது.
